01

Add the sites you already look after

Paste a list, or one domain at a time. Group them by client so the alert goes to the right inbox.

02

We check the things that actually expire

Once a day, and whenever you hit Check now: the TLS certificate, the registration date, and A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, and TXT.

03

Hear about it before the client does

Email at 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 days. An immediate note if DNS changes or a certificate is already invalid. A status page you can forward.

Live check

Look up a certificate, a registration date, and DNS.

Nothing is saved. The same check runs on your list every day.

One flat price for the agency.

SSL, domain registration, and DNS checks are included, so the bill doesn't grow with every client site you add.

One price. The whole roster.

Yearly billing is ten months for the price of twelve. Limits are enforced on domains and seats.

Common questions

What happens when an SSL certificate expires?

Browsers warn visitors and usually block the page once an SSL certificate expires. The server can still be running, but people see a security error until a new certificate is installed.

How do I track domain expiry for clients?

Add each client domain to Expiry Watch and it reads the public registration expiry date. Email arrives before that date so you can renew at the registrar, which is separate from the certificate.

What does Expiry Watch check?

Expiry Watch checks the TLS certificate, when the domain registration expires, and the DNS records A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, and TXT. It does not ping the homepage or measure uptime.

How often does Expiry Watch check?

Checks run once a day, and you can run Check now on a domain any time. Email goes out at 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 days before a certificate or registration expires, and immediately if DNS changes or a certificate is already invalid.

Is Expiry Watch free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 5 domains and one seat, with SSL, domain, and DNS checks and email alerts, and you can start now. Freelancer is $19 a month or $190 a year for 50 domains, and Agency is $49 a month or $490 a year for 300 domains with white-label reports. Paid checkout is opening soon.

Who is Expiry Watch for?

Expiry Watch is for web agencies and freelancers who look after sites for clients. It is meant for a roster of domains, grouped by client, with alerts to the right inbox.

Does Expiry Watch need private keys?

No. Expiry Watch reads the public certificate from the TLS handshake, the registration date from RDAP or WHOIS, and public DNS records. It never asks for private keys.
